It's been a whole year since I started this film photography journey and I must say - it's been great! TECHNICALLY this isn't my legit first time shooting film (I use to shoot disposables before digital really became a big thing back in the 90s and whatnot). I picked back up last year in August with Polaroid cameras - I shot with a Polaroid Now, CloseUp and the legend the goat the SX-70. I shot with those for at least two to three months. I won't lie - it was getting expensive so I switched over to 35mm (Olympus OM1n). My first roll was Ektar 100 (the best film stock) and from there I've shot Fuji 400, Fuji 200, Ilford Hp5, Kodak gold, and Portra 800. I clearly have a bunch of other stocks I need to shoot, but y'all know how that goes.
I'm obviously moving up to medium format soon, and I'm looking for a good price on a TLR or a Mamiya or Bronica. Once I find one the videos will come. That's going to be a whole new learning experience.
Overall I've learned a lot, had a lot of fun, and I'm still growing in this community. It's def an addicting hobby but well worth it. I enjoy making these videos as well and I plan on making more with even better quality every time. I'm currently trying to find my place on here as a YouTube film photographer and I don't want to come across like everyone else.
Thank you for watching and let's keep growing!
Oh and happy #worldphotographyday !
God bless.
