Repair storm damage to gabions yourself - my 2-day repair in fast motion

In this video, I show you how I repaired my damaged gabion wall for slope stabilization myself after severe storm damage. A beech tree about 30 meters high fell onto my stone baskets and caused considerable damage. I used an effective method to repair the gabion wall with as little effort as possible.

Instead of removing and rebuilding all 15 baskets, I laboriously emptied the damaged baskets by hand. I then installed new baskets in the existing bond and reinserted the stones by hand. This work took me two days and a lot of energy, but I was able to avoid a complete disassembly.
