Drying the cellar with injection and infrared heating - week 3 progress

In this video, I show how I dry out my basement with the help of an infrared heater. The infrared heating warms the damp masonry and supports the effect of the injection solution in the horizontal barrier. This method allows the masonry to dry out more quickly and makes the cellar usable in the long term.

Project status: We are now in the 3rd week of the basement dehumidification project. My measuring instruments are already showing the first positive changes: The humidity has dropped and the moisture in the bricks has also subsided. I have already refilled the injection bottles 4 to 5 times and also installed an infrared heater to further accelerate the drying process.

The basement #drying project
Over the winter, I'm devoting myself to finishing the basement. A room measuring around 36 square meters is to be converted into a workshop, but first the damp cellar has to be dried out. As with other rooms, I'm using the injection method, which involves injecting a liquid into the walls to stop the moisture.
