Build your own pool: Building walls and installing reinforcement with formwork blocks - Part 5

In this video, I start building the walls of our new rectangular pool using concrete formwork blocks. The steel reinforcement has arrived and I have already placed the first rows of formwork blocks on the west side between the retaining walls. To increase the stability of the pool, I integrate a horizontal reinforcement into each row of stones, which is firmly connected to the concrete foundation.

The April weather complicates the construction work with rain, storms and even snow, but I will show you in detail in future videos how I build the skimmer, the inlet nozzles, as well as the stairs and the sunbathing area in the pool.

We are transforming our old oval steel wall pool into a square pool with proper brick walls, stairs and a sunbathing area in the water. I'm documenting this exciting project in detail on my channel.
