Using a Japanese Technique to Make a lamp from a Big Piece of Wood

In this video, I turn this big chunk of wood into a piece of art, a modern lamp with a Japanese vibe, using a technique called "Yakisugi," also known as "Shou-sugi-ban." This technique gives the wood more strength and a very interesting appearance, which, along with the cracks and rings in the wood, makes it look very aesthetic. I also created another concept I wanted to try, a simple yet modern one.
