The "usual" parenting strategies are often less effective for children with ADHD. We discuss 3 core difficulties related to ADHD that make it harder for children to follow instructions and stay motivated. We then identify 3 changes caregivers can make to their parenting approach to help their child with ADHD stay engaged and set them up for success.
