Install Rain Bird drip pipe: Automatic irrigation for gardens and raised beds

In this video, I show you how I installed the Rain Bird XFD drip tube for automatic watering of my plants. The dripline, which is installed above ground, ensures that your plants are supplied with water efficiently and evenly. The Rain Bird Dripline has an irrigation opening every 30 cm, is self-cleaning and delivers 2.3 liters of water per hour per running meter. Ideal for economical and even watering!

Irrigation is controlled via the Hunter PGV solenoid valve and the Hunter X-Core irrigation computer. In the video, I show how I installed the valve box in the ground and installed the Rain Bird water distributor with the Hunter solenoid valves. Main lines made of PE25 pipe lead to the individual plant beds and ensure optimum distribution of the water.

I also installed a drip irrigation system in my new raised bed. By regulating the water flow at the Hunter solenoid valve, I was able to achieve precise control of the irrigation. This system is ideal for older residents to reduce the amount of maintenance required in the garden and to automate watering.
