Gabions for slope stabilization - professional installation of fleece, water and empty pipes

In this video, I show how to build a gabion wall for slope stabilization and explain how to integrate water and empty pipes as well as a drainage fleece. Gabions are a great choice for securing a slope, and in this project the ground is prepared and secured against slipping with a protective fleece.

Despite the bad weather, I installed the drainage fleece, water pipes and empty electrical conduits in the gabion wall. The slope slipped into the still empty gabion baskets, which made the project a real challenge. In the video, I show how I stabilize the slope, fill the gabions with stones and prepare the pipes for future installations.

The gabion wall is 30 meters long and 2 meters high and secures a steep earth slope. A staircase in the middle and the laying of water and sewage pipes as well as empty conduits round off the project.
