Drying out basements - injection method for waterproofing and horizontal barriers

In this video, I show you how I dry out my damp basement in an old building using a special injection liquid. This seals the masonry against rising damp and creates an effective horizontal barrier. I first test the process on various parts of the brick wall.

Basement project: Winter is approaching and I'm using the time to extend and dry out my basement. The approx. 36 m² room will later be used as a workshop, but due to the damp and cold, the cellar has to be renovated first. The injection method has already proved its worth in my other rooms, which is why I'm using it again. The liquid is injected into the walls to keep them dry in the long term.
