Converting the pool: Removing the steel wall, skimmer, jets and pool liner - Step 1

In this video, I show you the first step of our big pool conversion project. The old steel wall pool will be dismantled and replaced with a new, square concrete pool. I will dismantle the steel wall and build the new pool with concrete formwork blocks. The pool will have steps and a sunbathing area in the water. I will be following this project on camera so that you can follow all the steps from the very beginning.

In this first video of the project, I explain how to dismantle the old pool. The water is pumped out, the pool liner is removed and all the important components such as the skimmer, inlet nozzles and the LED underwater spotlight are dismantled. The steel wall of the pool is then dismantled.
