Connecting solenoid valves to the irrigation computer - step-by-step instructions

In this video I show how to correctly connect the Hunter solenoid valves of my lawn irrigation system in the valve box to the Hunter X-Core irrigation computer. The control cable supplies the valves with the necessary 24V voltage. The number of wires in the control cable is determined by the formula: “number of solenoid valves + 1”.

The Hunter X-Core can also be used to connect and control other 24V solenoid valves, such as those from Rain Bird, Toro or Gardena. Once the solenoid valves are connected to the control computer, lawn, hedge and bed irrigation can be controlled automatically. Thanks to the moisture and rain sensor, the irrigation computer takes the current weather situation into account and automatically adjusts the irrigation.

The valves are installed underground in the valve box and are connected to the Hunter X-Core irrigation computer via the control cable.
