A year ago, I shared the curriculum and resources I planned to use during my son's kindergarten year. Now that the year has come to an end, I'm looking back at those plans and sharing what our year actually looked like.
In this video, I'll be reflecting on our kindergarten journey, the growth we experienced, the challenges we faced, and the lessons we learned along the way. I'll also be revisiting the curriculum picks and flip-throughs I shared at the beginning of the year and discussing how those resources fit into our homeschool.
While our year didn't always go according to plan, it was filled with growth in communication, fine motor skills, life skills, independence, and so many meaningful moments that can't always be measured by completed workbook pages.
If you're homeschooling a kindergartener, teaching a child who learns differently, or simply looking for encouragement that progress doesn't always look the way we expect, I hope this video reminds you to celebrate the small wins.
