This flavorful parantha is rolled thin, cooked to golden perfection with ghee, and makes an ideal breakfast or lunchbox treat that kids will love. Paired with yogurt, it's comforting and packed with nutrients to keep everyone energized and satisfied.
Recipe: Sweet Potato & Potato Stuffed Parantha
Ingredients:
Dough: 2 balls of whole wheat dough, rolled thin
Filling:
1 small sweet potato, boiled and mashed
1 small potato, boiled and mashed
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp oregano
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the stuffing by mixing boiled sweet potato and potato with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and salt.
Roll out two balls of dough into thin chapatis. Place the stuffing on one chapati and cover with the other. Seal the edges carefully.
Roll the filled chapati gently to even out the stuffing and make a thin parantha.
Cook on a hot tawa with ghee on both sides until golden brown.
Serve warm with yogurt for a delicious and satisfying meal!
