I made the first copies when I was eleven years old in 1971. My parents were photographers and we had a darkroom at home and that's where I learned the art of processing black and white photography.
I closed the darkroom for good in 1990.
Today, 33 years later, I decided to show the generations how the black and white photos were made.
The film also includes the historical moments that lead to classic black-and-white photography.
In this video, I show what the minimum equipment is to make a silver copy.
There are many subtleties and details in this process, and if any of you my viewers have any questions, I will be happy to answer any of you.
