After many many years of research, training, and practicing, I gathered a tremendous amount of information on hand technique, who the most important teachers were, where the best schools in the world are to go study hand technique, and so much more. I found 2 teachers at Berklee College of Music when I was a student in the late 80s who I studied with and learned so many great techniques. Gary Chaffee, Alan Dawson, and John Ramsay were very important influences on my playing. I connected the dots from all of these teachers, catalogued the information I learned and wrote this book, The Ultimate Hand Technique Workshop.
