The driveway wasn’t anything special, just your standard discoloration from weathering and dirt. The porch and garage floor, however, had a rubberized coating that we haven’t seen before. As you can see in the pictures below, the porch had a nasty orange tint, and the garage floor is burgundy.
Areas of the patio can be cleaned with a 15° nozzle and time, but the garage floor coating was coming off in tiny soft chunks that kept clogging the surface cleaner. We know this wasn’t epoxy, because the epoxy coating will chip off when it goes bad, and I really wish this was epoxy!
The homeowner was expecting some of the garage floor coatings to come off but was not looking for a full stripping at the time, just the $99 spring clean-out special.
We will be returning to this property later in the spring to completely strip and re-coat the garage floor with epoxy. The homeowner also has a large deck, privacy fence, and siding that needs cleaning.
