Extending the gabion wall: building a stable retaining wall on a slope step by step

In this video, I show you how I extend and expand my gabion wall on a slope. I place another stone basket on top of the existing retaining wall and connect it firmly and securely to the existing gabion wall. This extension serves as a visual closure between the garden steps and the raised bed and provides a stable and aesthetic solution.

Gabions are not only robust and durable, but also easy to set up and a real eye-catcher in the garden. The small slope below my parking lot was already secured with a gabion wall last year. Now I'm adding another stone basket to the retaining wall to complete the overall look and provide more stability at the same time.
