Making bug repellent at home from beautyberry leaves! 1 cup of crushes beauty berry leaves 4 ounces of rubbing alcohol Let steep for 2 days then strain. Add in any essential oils you like or that you find help with repelling bugs. Ad 2-3 drops of preferred body wash or dish soap. Pour into a personal sized spray bottle. Reapply every 1-2 hours for best results. . I have made my own natural bug spray before but not with the beauty berry. We’ve only ever made jelly but im using it this year for more of its benefits.
