Homemade medicinal remedies are one of my favourite things to make and they are 100% natural, using ingredients that you started from seed and harvested from your garden, foraged from the local woodlands or locally produced.

LAVENDER OIL RECIPE:
*You can infuse many herbs and flowers in your favourite oil to make it edible or for external use.
- 1/2 cups of dried organic flowers (lavender in this case). - 1 x Bottle of your favourite organic oil (I’m using cold pressed Moroccan Argan oil) - 1 x Glass jar - 1 x cheese cloth
REISHI MUSHROOM TINCTURE RECIPE:

- Mushrooms - High proof alcohol (40% or more) - Glass jar - Cheesecloth - Water
Dry and chop your mushrooms. Now place them into a clean jar and cover them with a high proof alcohol.
Secure a lid and shake them every day for one month as much as you can! After 1 month, strain the liquid using a cheesecloth into another jar and keep the mushrooms.
In a large pot, pour 2 litres of water and bring it to boil. Add your mushrooms and let them simmer for about 2 hours.
After 2 hours, the water should reduce a lot (around 300-400 cl) and once cooled down, you can strain it using a cheesecloth.
Compost the reishi and keep the strained water. Combine the water with your alcohol and store in a dark cabinet.
CALENDULA SALVE RECIPE:

- infuse your favourite oil with calendula for one month (I used cold pressed Moroccan argan oil). - Local Bees wax which I had to extract and filter but you can also buy it premade, organic.
In the top part of a double boiler, add 1 cup of your calendula oil and roughly 200g or bees wax. You can also add any essential oil but I prefer to keep it as natural as possible.
Add water to the bottom section of the double boiler so you can melt but not burn the mixture.
While still hot, carefully pour the mix in your containers and leave it to cool down until completely cold.
