One of my husband Larry's favorite dishes as he is a potato man. Simply delicious and easy to make.
POTATO PATTIES
1 c unbleached white flour 2 T wheat germs ¾ tsp salt 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp aluminum free baking powder 1 T nutritional yeast flakes 1 ¼ c water 1 ¼ c potatoes, cut in match shapes 1 carrot, shredded ½ medium onion, shredded 3 green onions, chopped
In a medium size mixing bowl, put unbleached white flour, wheat germs, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, aluminum-free baking powder, nutritional yeast flakes and water. Mix well. Add potatoes, carrot, onion, and green onions. Mix well. Put a frying pan on a medium high heat. When the frying pan is hot, add vegetable oil. Scoop ¼ c of potato mixture into a hot frying pan, spread out to make circle. Cook both sides until lightly brown. Delicious!
