We finally met… in Poland 🇵🇱
Half a year after we met online at that time, I got to meet my Japanese-speaking friend Amelia in person for the first time! It was a heartwarming, language-filled adventure across Wrocław. From walking through beautiful streets in Wrocław to sharing local drinks and surprising strangers with languages— This was a day I’ll never forget.
Currently, I speak 14 languages, which I studied properly. These are English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Indonesian, Russian, Hindi, German, Turkish, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Polish and Dutch. And now I'm learning Greek, Tagalog, Cantonese, and Italian! Apart from that, I speak Japanese for sure, which is my native language.
Furthermore, I know a tiny bit of Italian, Swedish, Romanian, Farsi, Swahili, Tagalog, Burmese, Geogian, Finnish, Uzbek, Kazakh and Bengali!
Of course, my skills of these languages are still far from sufficient.
The thing I value the most, however, is the attitude to trying to know their culture.
Interacting with people from different background is an eye-opening experience and that makes me really happy.
I wanna inspire people to learn different languages.
